L’importance de la qualité de l'air à l’intérieur de votre maison
Respirer une odeur d'air vicié à l’intérieur de sa résidence est signe d'une mauvaise aération. Il est absolument essentiel d’évacuer adéquatement les polluants et les différentes odeurs circulant dans votre demeure. Une bonne ventilation empêchera l'humidité de rester dans l’air écartant ainsi la prolifération de moisissures.
L'échangeur d'air
Si une aération naturelle de votre maison en ouvrant les fenêtres lorsque la température le permet est incontournable, on doit opter pour une approche différente lorsque ce n'est pas possible. Ici entre en jeu l’échangeur d’air. Cette option permet une ventilation adéquate de votre maison en tout temps, tout au long de l'année.
Certains paramètres doivent être pris en compte afin d’identifier ce qui conviendrait le mieux à vos besoins, dont:
- La présence de fumeurs;
- Le nombre d’habitants à l’intérieur de la maison et s'il y a des allergies;
- Le nombre de sources d’humidité.
Renseignez-vous également sur la différence entre une ventilation de type récupérateur de chaleur (VRC) ou un appareil récupérateur d’énergie (VRE).
La ventilation au sous-sol
L'accumulation d’humidité est plus propice au sous-sol. C'est la raison pour laquelle il requiert une attention particulière. Quelles sont donc les façons possible de bien ventiler cette pièce?
- La courette anglaise: discrète et modulable, elle s’adapte bien aux diverses configurations de pièces;
- Les grilles d’aération, les fenêtres et les soupiraux: pratiques et classiques, ils ne demandent qu’un entretien minimal pour conserver leur efficacité;
- La ventilation mécanique contrôlée: à simple ou à double flux, elle est idéale pour éviter la condensation sur les murs du sous-sol et pour effectuer un contrôle constant de l’humidité;
- La ventilation mécanique inversée ou par insufflation: également adaptée à la ventilation de la maison, son plus grand avantage étant le contrôle efficace de l’humidité.
À propos de la ventilation dans un vide sanitaire
À partir de l’automne jusqu’au printemps, il est recommandé d’installer un déshumidificateur ou un petit ventilateur à l’intérieur de votre vide sanitaire. En le faisant fonctionner entre 15 et 20 minutes par heure, vous allez permettre à votre vide sanitaire de se ventiler efficacement.
Attention toutefois à ne pas utiliser cette technique au cours de l’été, car cela ferait en sorte de renvoyer l’air chaud à l’intérieur du vide sanitaire.
