So if you're planning a build, addition or main floor design, we can be there from start to finish.  Understanding budget is the first thing a home owner must know. At Inspired Renos Inc., we believe that before proceeding with any project, knowing the clients budget is crucial. Many times, homeowners approach designers or architects for design drawings without any consultation on building costs. These designs can cost thousands in fees. Once finished, the client submits these drawings to a contractor for pricing, and only then does the client realize the sheer cost of their project.  If the client cannot afford to do the project, the money is then wasted. So we prefer to know the budget, discuss what labor and materials cost up front and then design something they like according to their budget and then price. This is much more realistic and safer. Once an agreement is confirmed, a contract is signed and a deposit is required.  To keep the project moving forward with no delays, all materials should be choosen and purchased before start date. Tile, hardwood, kitchens, shower/tub hardware, faucets, toilets, vanities should all be provided to contractor through samples, spec sheets and drawings. Most projects require permits and we are happy to work with homeowners to provide all information required in order to obtain a permit. It's also preffered that permit be on site before any work starts should the job require a permit.
