La maçonnerie, c’est l'art de bâtir une construction par l'assemblage des matériaux. Il s’agit d’un travail très technique qui nécessite des connaissances et un certain degré de compétences pour pouvoir exécuter convenablement cette tâche.
Personne ne s’improvise maçon, puisque ce métier nécessite des autorisations spécifiques pour pouvoir exercer en toute légalité. Quand vous engagerez un entrepreneur en maçonnerie, la première chose à faire sera de vérifier ses permis et ses assurances pour être couvert en cas de dommages.
Quels sont les problèmes de maçonnerie les plus communs?
Les murs extérieurs de nos habitations sont constamment exposés aux intempéries. Pour cette principale raison, ils ont tendance à se fragiliser très rapidement, en particulier s’ils ne sont pas entretenus. Voici un aperçu des dommages pouvant être causés:
- Les briques endommagées
Il s’agit d’un problème assez fréquent et qui est notamment dû aux variations de température et à d’autres facteurs qui vont réduire la durée de vie de vos briques. Dans ce cas, l’intervention d’un entrepreneur en maçonnerie est nécessaire pour remplacer les briques endommagées et assurer l’avenir de votre maison.
- Les fissures dans les murs
Quelle que soit l’ampleur de vos fissures, il s’agit d’un problème à ne pas prendre à la légère car elles peuvent témoigner de problèmes beaucoup plus graves relatifs à votre fondation. Les fissures vont causer des infiltrations d’eau, des problèmes d’isolation et favoriser la pénétration des insectes. Un professionnel en maçonnerie saura clairement déterminer la gravité de vos fissures et vous proposera des solutions adaptées.
- L'apparition d'un ventre-de-bœuf
Le ventre-de-bœuf désigne un gonflement dans un mur de briques qui est généralement causé par une infiltration d'eau, la détérioration du mortier ou le déplacement du revêtement extérieur. Ce phénomène peut engendrer d’énormes dégâts, pouvant aller jusqu’à l’effondrement du mur, d’où la nécessité de contacter au plus vite un entrepreneur en maçonnerie.
